Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Manager to manage the full lifecycle of customer orders—from intake to final shipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on order accuracy, timely fulfillment, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires daily interaction with internal teams such as Logistics, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Process all incoming customer orders and create sales orders within 24 hours of receipt.
Monitor and update shipment tracking systems and internal dashboards.
Coordinate with logistics personnel to schedule and confirm outbound shipments.
Track order status and workflow using project management software.
Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external communications.
Maintain an active follow-up process to achieve optimal order fulfillment rates.
Ensure a high level of accuracy in order entry and account maintenance.
Utilize product knowledge to resolve customer concerns and recommend workflow improvements.
Provide support coverage for team members as needed.
Input and track select accounts using designated client-side platforms.
Comply with all internal policies and applicable industry regulations.
Promote a collaborative and respectful work culture across departments.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in order management or customer account handling preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience using task or project tracking software (e.g., Asana or similar)

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
Ability to analyze and resolve order discrepancies or service issues
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
Additional Requirements
Ability to remain seated for extended periods and perform standard computer-based tasks
Regular use of verbal communication and listening skills
Occasional light physical activity, including walking, reaching, and lifting
Local and occasional out-of-area travel may be required
