Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Apps of Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly.
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist nursing staff with medical procedures as needed.
• Document care provided accurately and timely.

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification in the state of Michigan.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
