Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Dentist or a General Dentist that loves treating kids. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing high-quality dental care, in pediatrics . You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction while adhering to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA standards. A pediatric dentist would have the ability to do bigger cases under sedation or at a surgery center. A general dentist would focus more on the older kids and less severe cases.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments, focusing on pediatric needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical histories.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.
Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and infection control.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including the use of dental software for record management.
Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
Valid dental license to practice in the state.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly with pediatrics .
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and relevant software applications (Eaglesoft, Epic).
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
